Zechariah 14:9. “And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be- ‘The Lord is one,’ And His name one.”
Good morning. Eric and I had the pleasure of spending the weekend at Freed-Hardeman with some of “our” daughters, Tara Crawford, Kaylee and Abby Rosenblum, for the 150 year birthday and the Homecoming festivities. Tara was one of the Junior Homecoming Representatives. There was a reception following the girl’s and boy’s basketball games (both were winners). There was also a singing in the Old Main building led by many song leaders including Larry Arnold. We attended Stantonville Church of Christ Sunday morning and heard a wonderful lesson by Matt Cook (former missionary to Cusco with the Kizers.) We are so proud of our college group. They have made good choices, they have wonderful friends who lift them up, and they are doing great things to show Christ through their lives.
Happy birthday today to Randal Jennings, Lindsay Jones, Doylene Coffey, and Seth Davis. I hope you all have many blessings today.
Workdays for Luck Family
This past weekend Pablo Luck has been bringing his family from Brazil to Alabama. Pat Cowden and Valerie Matheny are hosting a couple of workdays (today and tomorrow) at the Luck house (2120 Birchwood Dr. 35811) to get things ready for the family. Donations of household items have been collected and now it’s time to set things up and get the final details done. If you would like to help, men be there at 10:00 a.m. and ladies’ at noon.
Pat is asking that we send cards to Pablo, Taciane, Eduarda, and Manuela, to welcome and encourage them once they arrive. Let’s make them feel welcome here in Huntsville and at Chase Park!

They have three children: Tessa, age 6, Reagan, age 3, and Max, age 2.

This is all I have for this morning. Sorry for the lateness of this. Being gone on Sunday means I have lots of notes and emails to sort through for information. Hopefully, I haven’t forgotten anything. Have a good day. Enjoy the sunshine, rain and very cold returns tomorrow.
