A disciple of Christ is dedicated to be like Jesus in every way.  The only manner in which one can begin and continue that journey is by knowing about the life and teachings of Jesus.  His life is only shown in the gospel accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  Some people find it hard to see the life of Jesus across the different gospel accounts.  For this reason, this class will work from a harmony that combines the four accounts into an easy to read account.

The detailed nature of this class will challenge us to understand the life and teachings of Jesus in a much deeper way.  Accomplishing such will require that students immerse themselves in:

• The events surrounding the life and ministry of Jesus

• The world of the first century

• The customs of Jewish society

 

The class will learn about places in which our Lord walked.  Students will study:

• Capernaum

• The Sea of Galilee

• Jerusalem

• The Temple

• Nazareth, Gethsemane, Bethany, and more...

Since Jesus is the center point of the Bible, this class will reference every book in the Bible.  It will also cover a large number of fundamental Bible teachings.  Teachings about:

• Love

• Humility

• Faith

• Devotion

• Forgiveness

• Obedience

• Heaven & Hell

• Many more that have needed applications in life.
